Terms and conditions with specific regard to public liability insurance
Public Liability Insurance.
Bill Burnett Photography 2 Bleeding Heart Yard London EC1N 8SJ has full public liability insurance for all clients and visitors to the studio however this does not extend to cover in such as an event as follows; we are not responsible for actions or instructions given by the hirer which result in loss or injury to any of the hirer’s entourage. Such is the same if a hirer were to use premises such as a hotel, bar, restaurant, public transport etc.
The hirer will ensure that Public Liability insurance cover for all its personnel and representatives, suppliers, models and actors is operative during the above period of studio hire. The hirer is responsible for ensuring that all models in full time education or under the age of 18 have the correct authority to be at the studio for the purposes of the photography during the period of studio hire. The hirer must ensure that when a child model is hired, a person with First Aid qualification must be on site.
We cannot be held responsible for any losses caused by noise or vibration from nearby building works using noisy tools such as percussion drills or hammers. I shall endeavour to establish and warn you in advance of any such disturbance that may occur but I cannot promise a sound safe environment at any time. If a noisy/vibration occurs and a shoot has to be cancelled, I will not charge for the day and I will give free of charge another day for a retake but I cannot reimburse any other expenses such as model/actor fees, travel costs, etc. I have no advance notice or control over any building work in the vicinity that will cause a problem. Our main studio is not sound proof or sound safe, we have a small studio 4 x 4 metres which is sound safe but will not cover a percussion tool in use nearby. We have never lost a shoot due to noise in either studio as it is generally quiet here.
These terms will apply with or with out the presence of Bill Burnett in the premises at the time of the hire.
Bill Burnett Photography has insurance for all equipment belonging to Bill Burnett which is hired out for use within the studio. Bill Burnett Photography has no insurance for any equipment or personal belongings of a hirer or hirers colleagues under any circumstances and the hirer must take care to ensure that their own property is secure at all times.
Bill Burnett takes no responsibility for losses suffered as a result of loss of electricity supply, loss of utilities such as water, sewage, wifi, or for flooding, etc.
The booking is for stills photography or video shooting by agreement but it must be acknowledged that the main studio is not a sound stage and any sound recording will be subject to ambient noise. The small studio is sound proof to a degree but will not prevent the noise from percussion tools as mentioned above.
A booking confirmation is for the specified dates and operating times only.
Terms are payment will be arranged between Bill Burnett and the hirer.
